Our most beloved 'treat'
“Kārums” brand originated more than 30 years ago, but the production of cottage cheese has an even older tradition.
Curd cheeses are a popular product in the Baltic States and are becoming increasingly popular abroad due to its valuable composition.
During the year, each resident of Latvia eats an average of 40 pieces of cheese! How much do you eat?
It has long been a favorite breakfast and snack product with over 60% of its composition in valuable cottage cheese.
Cottage cheese is a good source of protein that helps build and maintain muscles. It is rich in calcium needed for strong bones and teeth. Curd also gives you a good sense of satiety.
Curd cheese is also a sweet and delicious snack, available in at least 15 different flavors. “Kārums” also boasts several less sugar cheeses!
